ABOUT the designer
Hello! My name is Tally Rane. I am 22 years old and founded this company in 2024. What began as a creative outlet transformed into something I wanted to pursue more seriously. My creativity is driven by my love for travel, nature, and the simple beauty found in everyday moments. I’m inspired by the idea that clothing should not only be beautiful but also evoke comfort and confidence in those who wear it.
In the beginning, Sun&Rane Studios was simply a small-scale passion project, with me designing in my spare time and experimenting with pattern ideas. Over time, the vision grew. I refined my style, connected with sustainable manufacturers, and transformed my sketches into a cohesive line of comfortable, ethically made sleepwear. This shift marked the transition from a personal creative hobby to launching Sun&Rane Studios as a true brand.
Looking ahead, I plan to expand my collection to include seasonal capsule drops and introduce limited-edition collaborations with other artists and designers.

While Sun&Rane Studios’ mission is to create one-of-a-kind patterns for comfortable and affordable sleepwear, ethics and sustainability remain top priorities in the face of global change. In keeping with this commitment, Sun&Rane Studios has partnered with a manufacturer that shares the same values and goals.
Qingdao Glamour Garment Co. manufactures all products featured on the Sun&Rane Studios website. Established in 2002, Glamour specializes in pajamas, loungewear, bedding, maternity wear, and bamboo fabrics for children, babies, women, and men. The company is dedicated to producing high-quality products with exceptional service, all while emphasizing sustainability and ethical practices. Working with the Glamour team has been a true pleasure—their agents are consistently responsive and patient when collaborating with a small business.
Glamour is certified with the Business Social Compliance Initiative (BSCI), which promotes improved working standards, occupational health, and safety. The company operates 30 production lines with 215 employees, including 32 production workers, 283 management staff, and 24 domestic migrant workers, in an 8,000-square-meter facility. The youngest employee was 22 years old during an audit conducted from July 1 to August 1, 2025 (amfori, Trade with Purpose Monitoring ID: 24-0302199). Standard working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a one-hour lunch break and 15-minute breaks for every four consecutive hours worked. Employees earn RMB14.95 per hour, paid on the 15th of each month via bank transfer. This was verified through a sample of 15 workers in September, October, and November of 2024.
